We have many questions about not having a click plate under the knob. The Precise Cut adjustor knob system has a knob, bolt, bearing and spring system combined into one assembly. The bearing is pressed into the back of the shear which makes a more stable pivot point. The threads on the bolt very precisely and snuggly match the threads in the nut. The nut itself is designed with a spring plate attached to the underside of the nut. As the nut is tightened, the spring plate becomes compressed. In addition there is a urethane insert inside of the nut that pushes on the threads on the bolt.

Heavier serrations on the last several teeth aid in better overall cutting to the tips without applying extra pressure. This is the first notcher to have not only a curved handle but also a curve to the cutting blades. It is available with straight handle and curved blade
